Here we are, after 10 days of absence due to blackout the internet! We returned from another
WWOOF ... this time it went great.
Where to start: the house first of all it was a messy heap of rubble, but a real secluded villa in the hills Tasman, our cottage (although not free from various insects and spiders!) Was very nice and warmed by a fireplace wood, which also gave us hot water, the work varied and interesting and the host family really nice and kind.
Not to mention our 4-legged friends who understood immediately what we're made of e. .. have stayed with us in the cottage.
We were in the company of: 2 dogs, 17 cows, 2 goats, 4 Peruvian guinea pigs, a rabbit and an indefinite number of hens, chickens etc etc. ..
Every morning after breakfast with bread and homemade jam lady left us everyday tasks: gardening, orchard care, property maintenance (building fences), animal care, light a fire in the kitchen, chopping wood and clean the dishes all ... so we'd be done!
negative Notes: Simo has been sucked by a leech lousy (pictured above), took the shock cows in the fence and broke all that was possible!
